Its been a little while since I’ve read this book in the series, but I immediately recorded a video of my thoughts. While the finer details of the story have become blurred to me since I’ve continued on in the series, I do remember enjoying this book.
The transition from The Pillars of Creation to Naked Empire was smooth and started up immediately after the previous book ended. It was a nice change of pace from the last book and it got me back into an eager state of mind to continue reading.

Finding Joy in Unexpected Places: A Memorable Motorcycle Ride to Remember
As we roll into 2025, I've been reflecting on the rides that made 2024 special. While the year didn't provide as many opportunities to hit the road as I'd hoped, one particular adventure stands out...
After months of silence on the YouTube channel, it's finally time to fire up the MT-09 and get back to what we love - creating motorcycle content and building our riding community. But before we dive...
You know, the further along in the series you get the less I feel like reading them..LOL I guess the constant reminders would be awesome if you would have only had the opportunity to read 1 book each year or 2 as they were released but reading them all in order it can be quite frustrating!
It also seems like they could have condensed the series but just wanted to get some more books out there š
Will be interesting to see how Season 2 of the tv show handles everything!

and what is the deal with the rape stuff – I can see the pillaging, but raping in every book it seems like it might be a bit of a dark fantasy of the author or something. š
Mike,
The reminders have me ready to actually scream at the book. It wasn’t bad early on in the series but now it is compounded by 10 other books, by the time you read the last one its as it you are getting more reminders than you are a new story.
I’m very interested in seeing Season 2 of Legend of the Seeker. Like I said before, I don’t see this story making a good television show without a lot of changes (which is what happened with Season 1)
The show has taken so many elements from some of the other books that I’m curious how much further it can go without running out of material.
It seems like every single book has at least one act of rape in it and threatens the act on several occasions throughout.
Thanks for the comments Mike
