Southern Chester USPSA Match in Photos

On November 17th, I shot the last Southern Chester USPSA Match of the season. Not only was it the last match for the club this year, it was my last match of the year as well. This particular match was billed as the annual Revolver Friendly match at Southern Chester. Shooters were encouraged to dust off the wheel guns.

The match was a lot of fun, even for me shooting in Production Division with the dirty “Bottom Feeder” gun. The tough part was trying to get fun stage photos. Anytime I tried to get in a position to photograph a revolver shooter, they were performing a reload rather than shooting (I know, revolver shooters do that a lot). It opened my eyes to just how different semi-auto and revolver divisions are, in terms of stage breakdown and execution.

Just like photos taken of the November Lower Providence IDPA Match, the camera used was my iPhone. I’m still considering taking my dSLR to the range but I’m on the fence about dragging out another electronic device and getting too artzy or creative when I should be developing a stage plan.
