On September 24th, Martin Moto in Boyertown, Pennsylvania, hosted its annual Modern Classics Motorcycle Event. Hundreds of riders arrived sporting motorcycles of all styles – from vintage Standards to Modern Sport Bikes and everything in between.
In addition to the vast array of bikes on display from attendees, there was also Live Music from the Cheyenne Band and a Motorcycle Painting display by Makato Endo. As if that wasn’t enough, Pre-1990 Motorcycles were for sale and displayed in the Collectors Tent.
This was my second year attending the Modern Classics Motorcycle Event at Martin Moto. Because of the nature of the event and the wide variety of motorcycles you’ll see there, I find it very easy to fit in no matter what you ride. It is very laid back and fun!
I attended this event with friends from the WaltInPA Discord Server (TrekkiMoto, Untamed Ride, PatW, Oldsman32). We spent a few hours taking in the sights and enjoying the live music. Of all the bikes on display, one stole the show. A 1979 Honda CBX that was in beautiful condition. I discovered a photo on Facebook after I had left that there was even a 1980 Honda CBX for Sale in the Collectors Tent (not that I could afford the $13,500 Price Tag, but still, it would have been great to see it up close).
The Modern Classics Motorcycle Event at Martin Moto is always a great time. If you’re into motorcycles, it’s worth checking out. This year’s event was no exception – hundreds of bikes on display and plenty of activities to keep everyone entertained. I had a blast and am looking forward to next year!
