Tonight marks the end my day five contribution to National Novel Writing Month. While I should be thrilled to have written 7,863 words so far, I am bummed out that I am behind. Ideally I would like to be no less than 8,300 words but life is making steady writing a challenge.
With a fairly busy weekend ahead of me, I’m concerned about not being able to pull ahead on my total word count. I suppose I’ll just have to try to make use of spare time as best as I can to try and make up on todays shortcoming. On a positive note, my story is progressing well. I have some ideas for putting a twist on the story but I’m just not sure how to work them in.
I’m feeling a bit drained, so pardon the short update. Cross your fingers and wish me luck, I’m going to need it this weekend.
