You are probably wondering, “Walt, it is Day 9 so why are we getting an update on day 8?” The answer to that question is simple, The National Novel Writing Month website was down last night and I couldn’t get a screen capture of my word count. I realize that is a lousy excuse for delaying an update but my writing excursion yesterday was a trying one.
I had a bit of a rough day and was considering not adding anything to my work in progress. I thought better of it and set a small goal of reaching thirteen-thousand words. It took a great deal of effort, but I managed. When I went to update my word count on the NaNoWriMo site, I found it down for maintenance. So, I skipped writing a quick update blurb until I could get a screen capture.
