My first experience with motorcycles came when I was in my twenties. I took an MSF Basic Rider Course with my Mother-In-Law to get licensed and then bought myself a well-used 1980-something Suzuki GS450. It was a hobby that I enjoyed immensely.
After riding for a few years, I married a wonderful woman and began raising a family. In an effort to mitigate risk, I sold my motorcycle and didn’t ride again for more than a decade. In 2020, I decided to start riding again and began documenting my journey here on WaltInPA.
Over the past few years, I have developed a small following on my Website and created the WaltInPA YouTube Channel
and Motorcycle Adjacent Podcast. As my online presence grows, I’ve been approached to produce product reviews to share with my audience.
If you find yourself on this page, I’d like to let you know that I greatly appreciate this opportunity to work with you on reviewing and promoting your motorcycle-related product. In an effort to streamline the process, I’ve put together this article outlining my process and answering some of the common questions you may have.
A WaltInPA Product Review
Have you ever tried a product and immediately fallen in love with a specific aspect of that product – then, a little while later, the novelty wears off, and it isn’t nearly as nice as you thought? Maybe the opposite has happened, and a product you initially didn’t care for has grown on you, and now you can’t live without it?
These experiences have happened to me more times than I can count. For this reason, when I review a product, I like to live with it for a little while. I like to make sure that when I share my opinion on a product, it comes from a place of real-world experience.

Common Questions

What types of products do you review?
I own a 2022 Yamaha MT-09 SP and a 2023 Kawasaki Ninja 400. I will review products specific to these motorcycles as well as universal fit items that can be used on these motorcycles. I also review Riding Gear and Accessories.
Do you charge for reviewing products?
I do not charge a fee for producing a review of your product or service. I do require that you cover all shipping charges. Additionally, please understand that you are providing your product free of charge, and there is no expectation of it being returned after the review is completed.
If you participate in an Affiliate Program such as Impact, Share A Sale, Shopify Collabs, etc – I ask that you please accept WaltInPA LLC as an affiliate before a review is completed. A discount code for my audience is not required; however, it is greatly appreciated.
How long does it take to publish a review?
The review timeline depends on the product or service being reviewed. Adequate time is necessary for me to test your product and formulate an opinion fully. Seasonality is also a consideration, as I am located in Southeast Pennsylvania, and riding in the winter months is limited.
Can companies provide specific talking points or information for the review?
Yes – any information you can supply to educate me about your product or service is appreciated. How I choose to convey this information is at my discretion.
Is there a guarantee that a positive review will be given?
I can not guarantee that my review of your product or service will be positive. I will do my best to highlight the positive aspects, but I will also highlight the negative aspects. Please understand that my review will be open and honest, as it is the only way I can maintain the integrity of WaltInPA.
How do you disclose partnerships or sponsorships in your reviews?
It will be clearly stated that this product was supplied to me Free of Charge in exchange for a Product Review.
Will you take the review down if I don’t like the outcome?
By the time a review is posted on my YouTube Channel or Website, a considerable amount of time and effort has been invested into the review. For this reason, I will not remove the review if the outcome isn’t favorable.
Are your reviews unbiased?
I do my best to maintain a positive working relationship with all companies supplying me with products for review. I do not favor one brand over another and strive to keep reviews honest and unbiased.
How do you select the products to review?
Ordinarily, when I am contacted regarding a review, it is with a particular product or service in mind. In the event that you have multiple products and would like me to select one – I will choose the one that is most favorable for a review. Typically these are items that I can use long-term and that my audience could see themselves purchasing.
Can companies request a specific date for the review publication?
Due to the nature of my Website and YouTube Channel, it isn’t easy to nail down a specific date for your product review. We can certainly work together to select a date range for your product review, but please understand that the complexity of your product and the time of year play a significant role in my review timelines.
Can you review products outside of the motorcycle industry?
Reviews of products and services are limited to those my motorcycle-based audience will find helpful.
