Feeling the urge to fire up the camera and shoot a video, with no idea what to talk about, has lead to this segment of Shooting The Breeze. I decided to just run with it and fire from the hip talking about a couple of things that came to mind.
I started off the video discussing the post frequency here on Walt in PA then moved into discussing my new picnic table. I finished the video off with some discussion on an incident with Syrus and a meter reader from the electric company.

Great video!!
no picnic table here, just a patio set.
Only thing i can tell you with the dog is what my in-laws did with theirs. You just have to be there when they would come by and have him close to you and introduce them. Any strange person sets a dog off, so you have to diffuse the situation by making like they are not a stranger. My in-laws had to do this with their neighbors when they had a dog that they would let run the yard.
You might get a letter from the electric company about the incident also. Sometimes they will continue reading your meter, other times they might make you start reading it yourself. They are not very nice to pet owners and I doubt they have any training other than the squirting finger training š

hey Walt. well i gotta a twofer for u lol.well i would say about little while back i was staying and my grandpas house. i was in the back of his house fishing. and all of a sudden i herd my grandpas two dogs barking like crazy. so i run up to the front of the house fast as i could and i see the meter guy standing on top of the picnic table hugging a tree that was next to it saying hey bro can u call ur dogs off me please.. guess i shouldn’t have been laughing but i couldn’t help it. the two dogs were a Chihuahua and Lhasa apso . i was laughing bc he is standing there trying to climb the tree.. im telling him the dogs are friendly come down.im standing there he is jumping up and trying to climb the tree and im thinking to myself the two dogs cant even reach to the bench part of the picnic table there no way there gunna get ya. just don’t climb the tree lol.so i took the dogs inside the frighted meter man came down i told him i was sorry for that he was really nice about it and went on his way.. i never asked him about what they do when encountered with dogs so i dunno. so maybe next time she comes to check ur meter she will use ur new picnic table as a retreat lol.. PS im a member of the stogie review and wanted to say great job, keep it up.. Aaron
