Yesterday I was sitting out on my deck, trying to hide from the blazing sun, when the urge struck me to grab my phone and do a quick recording for Slimming Down Dad. With the sounds of traffic in the background and sweat rolling off of my face, I spent a few minutes talking about how I’m finding normal tasks easier after a period of exercise.
In addition, I hope this episode serves as a bit of motivation for anyone that is on the fence about getting healthy and losing weight. In the beginning it might suck. The work is hard and only gets harder those first few sessions. Give it time and I promise it will get easier. Before long the exercise will stop being something you dread and turn into something you look forward to.
