Sometime last year, I picked up a copy of Glock: The Rise of America’s Gun by Paul M. Barrett. My intention was to read through it and then put together a review for the Shooting The Breeze Podcast, much in the same way I reviewed SHOOT: Your Guide to Shooting and Competition by Julie Golob.
While I did finish reading the book (and enjoyed it), I never did get around to actually reviewing it. By the time I sat down to put together a review, too much time had passed and the finer points of the book were getting fuzzy. Rather than re-read it and do a proper review, I just set it aside and let it collect dust.
I completely forgot about that book until I came across a contest on In Jennifer’s Head. It would seem that the publisher has released a paperback version of the book and Jennifer has a copy to give away, to one lucky reader.
Over the past 8 months I have been running various contests, giving away signed copies of SHOOT. Some months have been an absolute struggle to draw in entries. I don’t know if it is just bad luck on my part or if sometimes it is just tough to give away a book. Whatever the reason, I’d like you to do me a favor and help Jennifer out.
I don’t know Jennifer, nor do I have any stake in her contest, but she has always been pleasant with me in passing (Twitter, Blog Comments, etc.) and I would like to help her out. The best way I know to do that is to unleash the hoards of Walt In PA visitors on her contest…. All the both of you!
